Coat of Arms Slots

When you hear of a coat of arms, you think of times gone by, right? While coats of arms are still around today, they were common in medieval times… and those are the times we find ourselves in when the Coat of Arms slot game loads ready to try.

This is a good game based on a theme you don’t see too much. If you’re searching for an unusual game or just something a bit different, check out our review to see if this is the one you have been looking for.

Who came up with this idea?

The game was created by RTG.

They provide you with a test version to try it out

Otherwise known as a demo or practice slot, you can try this version before playing the real one.

A medieval theme

This is a nice theme, and even though they have included the typical low-value icons such as A and J, they look rather regal. That suits the theme, for sure. Other icons include a castle, a goblet, and a sword.

Is the design medieval too?

Yes, it does have that feel to it, but while it’s an older game, it doesn’t disappoint with a design that is too basic.

Let’s get to the basic format for the Coat of Arms slot game

The game offers five reels, so you can instantly recognize the presentation. Three symbols appear on each one when the reels stop spinning. There are two jackpots shown on the screen, a major and a minor one. The amounts are progressive.

Two major characters appear during the game. The black knight appears on the middle three reels and carries a 2x multiplier when substituting in a winning line. This is the wild, of course. Meanwhile, the game also includes a white knight. If you thought this might be the scatter, you were correct.

There are a couple of other important icons too – a crown and a golden shield. We’ll tell you more about these shortly.

Payline quantity to bet on

There are 25 lines in this slot, and they can be adjusted if you wish.

What about the betting options?

RTG is known for giving its players lots of coins to choose from, and they prove that once again here. The values go from a cent to $5 per coin.

Make sure you review the paytable before you start

You should do this even if you never intend to go beyond the demo. It’s always a good habit to get into.

The game does have a bonus feature

This is a Re-Spin Feature, and you can unlock it when you find at least two white knights from left to right on the reels. The reels containing the white knights are frozen in place before respins are given. You could get up to 10 of these.

Does that mean you won’t get any free spins?

No – there is a chance to get some of these too. If you find a golden shield on each of the first three reels, you’ll get 15 free games. There are multipliers in place here that increase for each set of five games played. Since there are three sets, the multipliers are worth 2x, 3x, and 4x, respectively.

These games don’t include the white knight, but a crown could appear on the third reel. The idea is to collect five crowns to earn another five free spins.

No RTP value has been announced

This seems to be the case with many games from Realtime Gaming.

Does Coat of Arms get a top rating from us?

It certainly gets 8 out of 10, which is a good score. We like the variations in the free spins feature, and it is good to see respins there too.

There are more prizes than you would imagine here

Coat of Arms does carry two progressives, but there is plenty more to aim for when playing, as you can see from the paytable.

Are you going to search for the knights in the demo game?

Playing the demo gives you a golden opportunity to try and unlock some of the bonus elements in the game to see how they pan out. If you find yourself wanting to return to the game, you could consider making real wagers instead.

Real play is available at selected RTG casinos

We haven’t seen the game at all RTG casinos, but it is certainly available at plenty of them.

Watch out for Coat of Arms at mobile casinos as well

The game looks just as sweet on a smaller screen, whether you’re using Android or iOS devices.
